The PrizesThere are 3 levels of prize in the Winchester Treasure.
The GOLD prize is an item of great monetary value. However, in order to claim it you have to discover what it is and where it was hidden. All the information you need is within the book. You do not need to visit Winchester. When you've found the answers simply go to the Entries page, select the GOLD entry and fill in the form. The competition stays open until midnight 31st December 2007. If there is more than one correct entry by that time there will be a tie-break. If there is only one correct entry the prize will be awarded. If there is no correct entry the competition will keep running until a correct entry is received. The cost of entry is included in the cost of the book.
You can enter at GOLD level as many times as you wish but only your latest entry will count. Earlier entries will be disregarded.
The SILVER and BRONZE prizes each take the form of a certificate which will be issued if you can correctly answer the questions set for each level within the book. There is an additional charge for this which covers the production and dispatch of the certificates. Any surplus monies will be donated to charity. If you answer incorrectly we will tell you. You will then have 2 more attempts without making further payment. After that you will have to pay a new charge.
